Fab Rehab Creations has what appears to be simple instructions on how to make a fabric headboard. I am not in love with this headboard as it is not exactly what I am picturing. I see more of one solid piece, but I want to keep it in mind.
Blissful Begonia has a headboard tutorial that is more what I am thinking. I like the way this one hooks onto the bed so I do not have to
Sew Mama Sew also has one that is mounted to wall.
Although I am not sure how burlap would look with the black furniture I really like this headboard from Imperfect Blog. I think this headboard may look better in the guest bedroom where we have a brown dresser. But then there are the issues of what if we have another kid and need that room for a nursery? What headboard do I use when the queen bed goes to the oldest kid? Making a headboard that will only be used for a year or so seems like a lot of work for very little. I still really like this headboard. Good job imperfect blog.
