Gameroom
Upstairs game room will have a brown couch on the wall with a world map behind it. Similar to this picture.
For a coffee table we will use the train table / coffee table function. The large chair may or may not be up there depending on how much room we have. I would like to make storage trunks for under the windows. Then put pillows on top of them for extra seating when friends are over. On the wall across from the couch I want to put up two white bookshelves / cubbies to hold toys. Between them will be the kids white table on a rug / mat. On the wall next to it will be hanging wire to hold pictures that need to dry, crayons, etc.
Here are a few gamerooms I really like.

Office / Formal Living
The office / formal living will have a piano on the long wall when you walk in. On the wall with windows there will be two chairs with a table in the middle. I am picturing printed chairs with colors complementing the pictures in the living room. Across from that wall will be my desk. Not sure what that looks like yet. I would like the desk to have some form of storage for my work things, laptops, etc. Here are some ideas I like so far.
Not sure what to do on top of the piano or on the wall. Need to look for inspiration there.
Girl's Room
Her mirror will go above her dresser, her house picture on the wall above her bed, on the wall by the light switch the large gold mirror is going on the wall, with a stool under it. Under the window a trunk for all her dress up clothes will go there. I am even open to finding a vanity that will fit on the wall by the light switch for her. A place where she can sit, play with her babies, and have her space. Here is the picture that inspired the dress up theme I love.
I may even put two trunks under her window with pillows on top. Then they can double as storage for toys and a place to sit and read / play.
No credit on the picture. I saved it a long time ago before the blog. Think it came from hgtv. If you know where it came from let me know so I can give them credit. Love the idea!

House Ideas
For the formal living room I am not sure about the color scheme but am starting to figure out the furniture pieces.
White Ikea armoire
Brown table and chairs from college. Rectangle seats four.
Big chalk board on the wall with black or brown frame.
I will use the bottom of the armoire as toy storage for the kids. Each kid gets half the bottom of the armoire and can keep any downstairs toys in there. That way we have a quick and easy way to clean up toys downstairs. In the top of the armorie I am considering making a bar for our alcohol and cups. It would be nice if guests can make their drinks outside of the kitchen so the kitchen is free for cooking and serving.
Still need to figure out what I am going to do with the chandlier. I am thinking single shade, white, with dark brown trim. Sleek, simple, easy to change out.
Color scheme will either be white and green (similar to the armoire in the picture above). Maybe turquoise and dark brown? Turquoise and white? I am not sure but I do want a pop of color in this room Either through the table or armoire. I like the idea of the table being a chalkboard table so I can leave the kids messages on it. That has potential to be fun. I can also paint the table white and bring in a colorful rug on the floor. Not sure about the colors but at least I know the furniture.
